Senior Cost Controller / Senior Cost Engineer wanted by a leading defence consultancy supporting a major UK defence manufacturing programme in Derby, which is critical to national security. You must be a sole UK national to apply, and ideally hold SC Clearance. However we are also able to consider un-cleared individuals who are able to go through SC Clearance, as long as you are a sole UK national.
This Senior Cost Controller role will see you working within a secure environment delivering cost tracking, forecasting and reporting across complex programme scope. The Senior Cost Controller will support tranche-level financial control, ensuring accurate data and consistent reporting. The Senior Cost Controller will be responsible for maintaining cost performance visibility across live programme activity.
As a Senior Cost Controller, you will manage cost control systems, support monthly reporting cycles and ensure accurate forecasting across project scope. The Senior Cost Controller will also work closely with planning and procurement teams to maintain alignment of financial data.
Senior Cost Controller requirements:
- You must be a sole UK national, ideally holding SC Clearance
- Strong experience in cost control or project controls roles
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking
- Strong Excel and reporting capability
- Experience within defence, infrastructure or complex capital programmes is essential
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
- Analytical and detail-focused approach
This role offers a salary of £55,000 – £75,000+ plus benefits, with 3 days per week onsite in Derby. Sole UK Nationality and SC clearance (eligibility) is essential.
