Marine Water Quality & Physical Processes Director

Location: UK Remote

Salary: Up to £95,000

We are supporting a leading environmental consultancy in the search for a Marine Water Quality & Physical Processes Director to join their growing UK-based remote team.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced environmental consultancy professional with strong expertise across marine water quality, coastal and estuarine processes and multidisciplinary project delivery. The role will focus on leading the operational delivery, strategic growth and commercial performance of a specialist marine discipline supporting major infrastructure, coastal and marine development projects across the UK and internationally.

The successful candidate will oversee a broad portfolio of marine water quality and physical processes projects, including marine and coastal data collection, water quality investigations, technical studies, environmental assessment support and advisory services across marine and transitional water environments.

Working closely with senior leadership teams, you will play a key role in developing client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and shaping the future direction of the marine water quality and physical processes offering. The position will also involve leading multidisciplinary teams, overseeing resource planning and ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical and commercial standard.

Additional experience in water quality modelling, applied data consultancy, coastal processes or international consultancy delivery would also be beneficial.

In return, the organisation offers fully remote working, a collaborative and flexible culture and the opportunity to play a key leadership role within a highly regarded environmental consultancy operating at the forefront of marine and water quality projects.
