Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer – South West – Remote Working – 6 – 12 Months + – £60 – £65ph Inside IR35
Venn Group’s specialist Legal team is recruiting for two Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer vacancies to join reputable local authorities in the South West. These are locum roles for an initial term of 6-12 months and is subject to likely extension thereafter. Our clients are ideally recruiting on a full-time basis, but requests for part-time hours and condensed working weeks may be considered.
Duties and responsibilities for this post may include:
- Manage a caseload of Adult Social Care legal matters
- Conduct Welfare and Section 21A applications in the Court of Protection
- Provide advice relating to Ordinary Residence matters
- Handle Nearest Relative applications
- Manage and advise on Deputyship applications
- Provide legal advice in relation to the Mental Health Act
- Attend hearings and provide advocacy where required
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult social care law gained within a Local Authority and will be confident to jump straight in and assist the team in what has proven to be a busy period. An hourly rate of £60 – £65 (inside IR35) is offered for these positions.
