Production Planner (FMCG)
Glasgow | Full-Time | Permanent
An exciting opportunity is available for a Production Planner to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing business in Glasgow. This role would suit someone with entry-level supply chain or planning experience who is looking to develop their career within manufacturing and operations.
You will support the creation and management of production schedules, work closely with operational teams, and help ensure customer orders are delivered on time and efficiently. Strong Excel skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily and weekly production scheduling
- Monitor production progress and update plans where required
- Work closely with supply chain, warehousing, and production teams
- Maintain accurate planning data within ERP/MRP systems
- Identify potential scheduling issues and escalate where needed
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
About You
- Entry-level experience or knowledge within supply chain, planning, logistics, or manufacturing
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Able to manage changing priorities and solve problems effectively
- Keen to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment
