We are currently partnering with a global brand to find a Social First Art Director which requires a very specific type of creative talent.
We are looking for someone coming from a respected creative, social, advertising or integrated marketing agency environment who truly understands how to create ideas built for modern platforms and modern audiences.
This is not a traditional Art Director role.
This is for someone who lives and breathes social culture, understands digital behaviour instinctively, and can move seamlessly from big creative thinking into hands-on execution.
The successful candidate will join a highly agile creative team supporting one of the world’s most recognised consumer technology brands. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, creatively ambitious, and very ideas-led.
What we need:
• A genuine social-first creative thinker from a renowned agency background
• Someone who understands how ideas need to work differently across social, digital and film
• Strong conceptual thinking combined with excellent executional ability
• Experience developing campaigns, content, treatments, storyboards and platform-native creative
• A portfolio demonstrating culturally relevant, social-led work
• Someone confident presenting ideas, articulating creative rationale and collaborating closely with clients and production teams
• An individual who is equally comfortable crafting creative detail as they are developing big campaign territories
The ideal candidate will have:
• Several years’ experience within a creative, advertising or social agency
• Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, behaviours and best practices
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills or equivalent
• Experience working with consumer, lifestyle, entertainment or technology brands
• A proactive interest in how AI is influencing creative production and ideation
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment
