Account Director
£60K + comms
We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to help drive commercial growth for a well-established B2B media and events business working across the retail and consumer sectors.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strategic client partnerships and delivering integrated marketing solutions across multiple platforms. You’ll work with leading brands to create insight-led campaigns spanning content, events, sponsorship and digital solutions.
You’ll ideally have experience selling creative marketing partnerships to senior stakeholders within large organisations, alongside a proven ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Relationship Management
- Building and developing long-term relationships with stakeholders across key client accounts.
- Understanding client objectives and identifying opportunities to deliver commercially effective solutions.
- Using market insight and audience understanding to shape recommendations and campaigns.
- Growing account value through proactive relationship development.
Business & Revenue Growth
- Delivering against revenue targets through a combination of new business and account growth.
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-platform partnerships.
- Developing tailored commercial proposals aligned to client objectives.
Consultative Solution Selling
- Selling integrated media and marketing solutions across digital, content, events, sponsorship and thought leadership.
- Creating compelling proposals and presentations for senior decision-makers.
- Leading pitches and commercial conversations with confidence.
Collaboration & Campaign Delivery
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure successful campaign delivery.
- Managing projects from briefing through to post-campaign reporting.
- Supporting the execution of large-scale commercial initiatives and partnerships.
What You’ll Need
- Strong experience within media, partnerships or integrated marketing sales.
- Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and drive revenue growth.
- Experience selling multi-platform marketing solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Commercially driven, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
