Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Stirling for a Lead Heat Pump Engineer. The Lead Heat Pump Engineer will take responsibility for the design, installation, and commissioning of ground and air source heat pump systems. This role involves overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical leadership to the engineering team. Additionally, the role requires collaborating with clients, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining equipment to ensure peak performance.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with ground and air source heat pumps, including system design, installation, and maintenance
- Strong understanding of MCS standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Ability to lead and mentor an engineering team, ensuring project delivery within deadlines
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and project coordination
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in renewable energy, HVAC, or plumbing
- Experience with MVHR systems and other energy solutions is a plus
- Full driving license required
