Operations Manager Transport & Logistics

We are working with a well-established logistics business to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop their transport operation.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a key part in ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transport planning and operations
• Manage fleet and driver performance
• Deliver against operational KPIs and budget targets
• Ensure compliance with tachograph and WTD regulations
• Drive continuous improvement across the operation
• Lead and develop operational teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience in transport or logistics operations management
• Strong background in general haulage or container logistics
• Solid understanding of transport compliance and regulations
• Effective leadership and communication skills
