Senior Business Analyst

TrueNorth are exclusively partnered with a fast-growing, product-led SaaS business that is scaling rapidly both in the UK and internationally.
This organisation has already built a highly successful platform with thousands of users globally and is now entering a major growth phase as they continue investing heavily into product, engineering, and customer experience.
As part of that growth, they’re looking to hire their first in-house Senior Business Analyst to sit at the centre of product discovery, requirements gathering, and engineering delivery.
This is a genuinely high-impact role where you’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and senior leadership to help shape how ideas move from concept through to delivery.
The Role
You’ll own the requirements lifecycle end-to-end — from user research and discovery through to technical specification, stakeholder alignment, and acceptance testing.
The environment is highly collaborative and product-focused, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and hands-on BA delivery within a modern SaaS business.
You’ll also work closely with distributed engineering and product teams, helping improve processes, refine delivery workflows, and bring greater clarity and structure to product development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead discovery workshops, user research, and stakeholder sessions
Translate product ideas into clear technical specifications
Write user stories, acceptance criteria, BPMN flows, and process documentation
Partner closely with Engineering and Product leadership on scope and feasibility
Coordinate requirements across multiple delivery teams
Support backlog refinement and prioritisation discussions
Lead acceptance testing and validate delivered functionality
Help improve and mature internal product delivery processes
Skills & Experience Required
✅ Previous experience as a Business Analyst within a SaaS or product-led environment
✅ Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
✅ Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
✅ Knowledge of BPMN, process mapping, and workflow analysis
✅ Strong Agile delivery experience
✅ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
✅ Comfortable working with technical and non-technical teams
✅ Experience working with offshore or distributed teams would be beneficial
