Paralegal – Property Litigation & Leasehold Matters. 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the Opportunity-

A well-established London-based law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its Property Litigation and Leasehold team on a fixed-term basis.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious property matters and would suit a candidate with prior litigation or property law experience who is looking to work within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.

The Role-

You will support a team of fee earners across a varied caseload involving property litigation and leasehold matters. Responsibilities are expected to include:

  • Liaising with Courts and Tribunals
  • Assisting with case management and procedural deadlines
  • Preparing and filing Court and Tribunal documentation
  • Supporting disclosure exercises and evidence preparation
  • Assisting with witness statements, exhibits, and hearing bundles
  • Drafting notices, correspondence, and standard applications
  • Conducting legal and Land Registry research
  • Obtaining and summarising title documentation
  • Supporting file opening, compliance, and client due diligence processes
  • Assisting with client communications and drafting correspondence
  • Preparing costs schedules and related documentation

About You-

Applicants should ideally have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ Paralegal experience
  • Experience within litigation, property litigation, landlord and tenant, or leasehold matters
  • Familiarity with Court procedures and case management processes
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and professional approach
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information
