Legal Entity Project Manager
This role will be working for a major international consultancy client of ours on a highly confidential project for a global manufacturing company.
They are ideally looking for a senior project manager who has experience leading major projects for international organisations focused on the legal entity, either on legal structuring, governance, tax, or financial structuring projects.
It is an initial 6 month contract inside IR35 paying circa £600 per day but the project is likely to last for another 12 months. You will be required to be in the London office 2/3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency across the programme.
- Manage project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Own and drive delivery of the steps plan, including the legal steps plan, ensuring milestones are met and dependencies managed.
- Lead RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and provide regular, high-quality reporting to senior management.
- Establish and maintain a centre of excellence for project tooling, processes, and training across the team.
- Produce clear and accurate status reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Provide governance oversight, ensuring the project operates within agreed frameworks and escalation paths.
- Act as a central point of coordination across workstreams, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
Required experience
You will be an experienced project managemnet professional with a track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream programmes — ideally within a legal, tax, professional services, or financial services environment. You will bring rigour and structure without sacrificing pragmatism, and will be comfortable operating at pace in a demanding, high-profile project environment.
- Proven experience in a senior Project Manager role on large-scale transformation or restructuring projects. Ideally with some exposure to PMO or program manager
- Strong governance expertise, with experience establishing and embedding project management frameworks and controls.
- Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting.
- Experience producing and presenting high-quality reporting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight.
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to engage and influence at all levels across legal and business functions.
- Experience managing RAID logs and driving timely resolution of risks and issues.
- Familiarity with legal entity projects, corporate restructuring, or regulated environments is advantageous.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
