Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a hands-on Production Engineer to join an established and growing manufacturing business developing innovative technical products for highly regulated environments.
This role is ideal for someone with a practical engineering mindset who enjoys improving manufacturing processes, solving shop floor issues, and getting directly involved in production improvement projects.
The business has several major product launches planned, making this a fantastic opportunity to come in and really shape the role whilst working across a wide variety of manufacturing and assembly processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting and leading manufacturing improvement projects
- Troubleshooting production and quality issues on the shop floor
- Improving manufacturing processes, efficiency and workflow
- Supporting introduction of new products into production
- Creating and maintaining technical/manufacturing documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Working closely with production, engineering and quality teams
What they are looking for:
- Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role
- Hands-on approach with strong practical problem-solving ability
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
- 3D CAD experience is essential
- Experience with assembly, electronics or manufacturing technology environments would be highly beneficial
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement exposure desirable
- ERP system exposure would be useful but is not essential
