An excellent opportunity has arisen for an NQ + Family Solicitor to join a well established Yorkshire practice in their Brighouse office.
This role offers a varied and high-quality family law caseload, with a strong focus on private family matters, alongside a small, manageable amount of legal aid work. You’ll be joining a well-regarded, supportive team with a strong reputation in the local market.
The Role
You will handle your own caseload of family matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation disputes
- A limited amount of publicly funded family work
There is genuine scope to develop your experience and progress your career, with support from experienced colleagues.
About You
- NQ Solicitor +
- Experience in family law (gained through training contract, paralegal work or post-qualification)
- Comfortable undertaking advocacy, including attending court where required
- Confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Strong client care skills with a practical and empathetic approach
- Keen to develop and progress within a busy and well-regarded family team
