An established not-for-profit organisation located on the outskirts of Havant, Hampshire is seeking an experienced Interim Director of HR to lead their HR function on a part-time basis.

What will the Interim Director of HR role involve?
- Providing strategic leadership to the executive team and wider HR function, focusing on recruitment, retention, talent management, and absence reduction
- Leading initiatives to enhance staff wellbeing and reduce associated costs, including sickness absence
- Supporting organisational change and improvement projects aligned with long-term goals
- Collaborating closely with trustees and senior leaders to formalise HR policies and ensure compliance
- Managing ongoing HR projects, ensuring smooth implementation within a fast-paced environment
Suitable candidate for the Interim Director of HR vacancy:
- Demonstrates significant experience within not-for-profit or public sector settings, with a track record of leading HR functions at a senior level
- Skilled in talent management, recruitment improvements, and staff retention strategies
- Confident working independently, with excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Possesses strong knowledge of HR legislation, best practice, and change management in complex settings
- Adaptable and proactive, able to start quickly and deliver against short-term project deadlines
