Principal Product Manager, Modeling

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager for Modeling to lead the AI transformation of our core modeling functionality. In this senior, high-impact individual contributor role, you will partner with engineering, product, and strategy teams to drive the strategy and roadmap for AI-driven modeling experiences, creating smarter, more efficient model building for our enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Help define and evolve the direction for Anaplan’s modeling experience, specifically using AI to make model builders more productive
  • Drive the product roadmap in partnership with engineering, ensuring delivery of high‑impact capabilities for our customers and application teams
  • Develop specifications, standards, and design principles for a consistent modeling experience
  • Engage with customers, Anaplan CoEs, application teams and field to assimilate feedback and opportunities into the roadmap
  • Support cross‑functional alignment across engineering, product, and strategy teams
  • Drive end‑to‑end experiences: writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria, working with UX to create prototypes for usability testing and research, and coordinating with engineering, documentation, support, and marketing to deliver quality experiences

Qualifications

  • Experience understanding and building large complex planning models in multi‑dimensional products similar to Anaplan, either as a consultant or as a customer
  • Experience translating spreadsheets into multi‑dimensional models
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience thriving in a rapidly changing environment
  • Prior experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Ability to define and manage complex product roadmaps and technical requirements
