Job Description

An exclusive and exciting property in London is seeking a Senior Meetings and Events Planner to work with the Meeting and Events Team based in Central London.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Meeting and Events Team Manager
  • Manage and convert meeting & events inquiries
  • Manage the event from end to end
  • Interface with the Meeting and Events Diary Management System
  • Manage your own area organising the larger events
  • Have a strong emphasis on maintaining and developing high value key accounts
  • Handle and network your own and existing accounts and engage with past users to generate future business and develop new leads
  • Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and Meeting & Events Operations Team to determine potential enhancements to the guest experience.
  • Contribute to forecasts, plans, and productivity reports as required.
  • Involvement with the AV Team for support on any technical needs Streaming events

Qualifications

  • Experience of being a Senior Meetings and Events Planner, Senior Meetings Planner, Senior Events Planner, Senior Event Sales Executive, Events Sales Executive, Events Sales and Marketing Executive, Meeting and Events Sales Executive
  • Have three to four years Meeting and Event Management experience
  • High standards, a can‑do attitude, be results driven and have excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong commercial outlook, determined to achieve results.
  • Account management experience
  • Excellent customer care and focus and ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be measured and very organised, enjoys working in a busy environment
  • You must have worked in hospitality, live in the UK to apply for this role and have the right to work.
