Oracle ERP Cloud Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic project management leader with a proven track record in Oracle Cloud delivery to manage and drive our Oracle ERP/HCM/EPM projects across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage the delivery of Version 1’s Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/EPM projects.
  • Work with the customer to confirm scope and goals, objectives, business justification and secure resources (people and budget).
  • Lead, oversee and ensure project plans stay on time, within cost and meet quality standards.
  • Manage customer expectations and closely monitor scope creep.
  • Control and report progress to the Steering Group/Sponsor and internal senior stakeholders, escalating any issues as required.
  • Continuously assess potential risks and issues.
  • Monitor and communicate decisions made by the customer.
  • Track and report on project budget, ensuring P&L targets are met.
  • Lead an effective communication strategy for the project.
  • Identify inter‑dependencies between stakeholder groups to align work and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure appropriately skilled resources deliver the project, managing their availability and performance.
  • Travel to customer sites as required.
  • Assist in pre‑sales and business development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud projects end to end.
  • Experience delivering projects as part of a consultancy or systems integrator.
  • Ability to lead and deliver multiple projects concurrently.
  • Project Management experience with Oracle AIM and OUM methods for complex Oracle Applications.
  • Knowledge of Prince2 or similar project management frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience managing fixed‑price/budget, commercial and customer engagements.
  • Governance experience (Gate Control, status reporting).
  • Scope management expertise.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills across all levels.
