About The Job

Games Workshop seeks an Internal Auditor to monitor and improve risk controls, ensuring financial and operational processes are protected. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively to champion continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify whether controls are working and pinpoint gaps where risks are unmanaged.
  • Conduct risk‑based and cyclical audits on financial and operational processes.
  • Identify and document control weaknesses.
  • Deliver audit reviews end to end – planning, scoping, fieldwork, drafting findings, actions and reports.
  • Ensure reviews are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Work with the business to agree pragmatic audit actions and monitor the delivery of improvements, maintaining quality and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in audit and risk management.
  • Accurate, reliable and capable of working independently with sound judgement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to build relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Self‑starter who understands the business and takes action to manage financial and operational risks.

Location & Working Arrangements

Hybrid working – based at Lenton, Nottingham, with office presence twice a week.
