Senior Internal Auditor

The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for delivering high‑quality, risk‑based audits across the organisation, providing independent assurance to senior leadership, and driving improvements in governance, controls, and operational efficiency. This role combines hands‑on audit delivery with advisory responsibilities and requires strong analytical judgement, communication skills, and the confidence to challenge constructively.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit Planning — Lead the scoping and planning of audits, ensuring alignment with the annual audit plan and organisational risk profile.
• Risk Assessment — Perform detailed risk and control assessments to identify key exposures and prioritise testing.
• Audit Execution — Conduct end‑to‑end audits, including walkthroughs, control testing, data analysis, and documentation to professional standards.
• Reporting — Produce clear, concise audit reports with well‑evidenced findings, root‑cause analysis, and practical recommendations.
• Stakeholder Engagement — Build strong relationships with senior leaders, presenting findings and influencing action plans.
