Role Overview
Reporting to the Software & Electronics Technical Lead, your role as an Electronics Design Engineer will be vital in supporting the future development and expansion of the Electronics team. This is a hands‑on role where you can apply your knowledge of Electronics Design all the way from requirements capture, to schematic layout and board bring‑up, across ETL’s extensive range of products. This will include mixed‑signal circuits, efficient low‑noise power domains and integration of System on Module and Microprocessor circuits.
Key Accountabilities
- Capture design requirements into design documentation and schematics.
- Good knowledge of analogue and digital electronics design including simulation, modelling and noise‑aware designs.
- Proficient with Altium Designer for schematic capture.
- Skills in Python and/or C/C++ to support board bring up and debug.
- Be able to perform hands‑on troubleshooting, debugging and optimisation of prototype and production boards.
- Support production of clear documentation, design reports and test plans.
