Our client, a growing civil and groundworks contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This key role involves overseeing the commercial delivery of 3–4 live projects valued up to £3 million, ensuring projects are commercially controlled and delivered profitably.

You will work closely with operational teams while supporting wider business commercial functions such as tendering, procurement, and subcontract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full commercial aspects of multiple civils and groundworks projects.
• Manage change control, cost tracking, forecasting and CVRs.
• Prepare applications, valuations and measures.
• Procure materials and manage commercial reporting.
• Assist with tendering and estimating activities.
• Negotiate and manage subcontract packages.
• Support wider business commercial operations.
• Manage and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams.
• Attend site visits and meetings across live projects.
