Vehicle Inspector Nights

Manpower is looking for a Vehicle Technician for a client in the Thorne area. The role involves working nights Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 6:00.

The rate will be £17.80 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to NEW, AUC and BVRLA standards, using mobile computer technology.
• Take high quality images of damage as required, depending on customer inspection standard, and review images to confirm quality of customers’ expectations.
• Communicate with several internal and external partners to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Identify damage and previous repairs and apply the correct repair method autonomously.
• Load work into the correct work areas and apportion the costs to the correct responsibility.
• Handle all inspection equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Provide a professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers, including demonstrations of the inspection process during calibrations.
• Liaise closely with site personnel and maintain regular contact with line manager.
• Remain up to date on customer inspection process and standards.
• Take care and responsibility of all vehicles in your care, reporting immediately any accidents.
• Carry out other duties as requested by line manager.
• Actively champion a culture of continuous improvement.
