About the role:

As the National Account Manager for Turf Equipment, you’ll take the lead in shaping, growing, and elevating our relationships with major golf and grounds maintenance operators across the UK. This is a role with real influence: you’ll own the performance, development, and long‑term success of a portfolio of high‑value, high‑complexity national accounts, while also opening doors to strategically targeted new business opportunities.

Your communication skills and proactive mindset will be key as you collaborate with colleagues across the business—from branch and dealer managers to divisional leaders and customer care teams—to deliver an exceptional experience for every major account. You’ll champion our customer service reputation, strengthen partnerships with key decision‑makers and influencers, and negotiate with confidence to secure outcomes that drive mutual success.

Commercial growth will sit at the heart of your mission. You’ll shape and implement partnership plans that increase profitable volume, expand brand presence, and showcase the full breadth of the Reesink portfolio in ways that genuinely support each customer’s operational goals.

A naturally customer‑focused approach, combined with strong financial and commercial awareness, will enable you to build broad, trusted relationships and develop impactful, insight‑driven account plans that deliver results.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable sales, grow the customer base, and build a strong new‑business pipeline.
  • Support product range expansion and stay informed on key industry sectors.
  • Build strong relationships across all customer groups, including National Accounts, supported by consistent CRM use.
  • Communicate clearly with channel partners and resolve issues quickly and fairly.
  • Deliver excellent customer experiences and improve retention through regular reviews.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal specialists to enhance customer outcomes.
  • Support wider Reesink UK industry initiatives.

Forecasting & Stock

  • Produce accurate customer forecasts to guide strategic planning.
  • Help manage slow‑moving or superseded stock to maximise market opportunities.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Build trust, hold colleagues accountable, and share insights from account and market data.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with clear, purposeful updates and briefings.
  • Use all communication channels effectively to support strategic goals.

Planning & Prioritisation

  • Work with suppliers on pricing and programmes to drive market penetration.
  • Contribute to annual sales planning while balancing sales priorities with wider business needs.

Cost & Commercial Focus

  • Challenge additional client support requests to protect profitability.
  • Maintain strong financial and commercial awareness, including P&L and cost/benefit understanding.
  • Manage expenses with a business‑owner mindset.
