Specialist Mentor ASC – Autism Support

Location: Wolverhampton

Rate of Pay: GBP28 per hour + GBP3.38 accrued holiday pay

Contract: Part-time, flexible hours

Start Date: September 2026 (for the new 2026/2027 Academic Year)

Are you passionate about supporting students with autism and Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs)? We are looking for a dedicated Specialist Mentor ASC to provide individualised academic support, developing personalised learning plans and guiding students towards success at the University of Wolverhampton.

As part of the eligibility criteria, candidates must have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules. If you have not yet completed these modules, we can support you in obtaining them. The training, costing approximately GBP180 for the NMH bundle, is required prior to commencing the role. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, a recognised qualification that can strengthen your CV.
