DHL Supply Chain is the world’s leading logistics company and offers a role for an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate stock records, investigate discrepancies and support efficient inventory management across a fast‑paced warehouse operation.
Typical Day
- Manage and maintain stock control processes to ensure stock integrity and system accuracy.
- Carry out stock counts, reconciliations, and investigate any discrepancies.
- Update and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in line with stock movements.
- Check inbound goods and manage customer returns in accordance with DHL and customer processes.
- Liaise with internal teams and communicate with customers regarding stock queries.
Who This Role Would Suit People Who
- Have previous experience working in an inventory/stock capacity within a warehouse environment.
- Have strong IT skills – experience of Microsoft Office including Excel and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Can communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
- Have a keen eye for detail and can work unsupervised using own initiative.
