Business Development Manager-Utility Asset Adoption
Home/field based with nationwide travel. Excellent salary plus bonus plus car/car allowance plus superb pension.
40 hours, Monday‑Friday, 25 days leave.
Are you an experienced BDM or Sales Manager, ideally from a UK utility network adoption background, looking to work for a national business in a newly created role? The company is renowned for professionalism and how it develops, trains and retains staff.
The position is to identify and secure new asset adoption partners to build the utility networks for the company to then run. It also concerns building deeper relationships with existing partners, and the role is likely to evolve from a primarily new‑business emphasis position into a more account‑management emphasis role over time.
An average week is likely to be four days visiting clients across the UK, one day working from home, with visits to HQ required once per month.
The Role
- Full‑time permanent position, home/field based, working for a national utilities infrastructure business.
- Working within the asset adoption team, securing new UIP/ISP partners while developing deeper relationships with existing partners.
- Meeting clients in person and representing the company at exhibitions/industry events.
The Person
- Experience in a Business Development or sales position.
- Experience working in the UK utility network adoption industry or a related industry (or UK house‑builder background).
- UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
