Description

The Data Operations Manager works under the Senior Director, Feed Operations & Partnerships, overseeing the seamless integration of data from multiple sources. Responsibilities include managing automated feeds processes, maintaining continuous connectivity to feed sources, migrating clients across platforms, and reporting to stakeholders. The role requires expertise in creating innovative solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Leading data integration projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organisational needs.
  • Overseeing team performance, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Working closely with software engineers, data analysts, and business users to understand integration requirements and devise solutions.
  • Designing processes to map and transform data from source to target systems efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues to maintain data integrity and reliability.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of integration processes, data flows, and protocols.
  • Continuously improving data integration strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Managing integration tools or platforms to facilitate data flow and consistency.
  • Overseeing new data feeds/conversions including data analysis, mapping, testing, and implementation.
  • Monitoring daily feed runs, evaluating failures, determining root causes.
  • Collaborating with internal and external resources to resolve feed failures.
  • Notifying internal team of feed performance issues and failures.
  • Understanding applications and their interdependencies.
  • Ensuring team metrics and goals are achieved.
  • Maintaining consistent, standardised use of metrics across all reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborating with various departments and products within CoStar.
  • Communicating issue statuses and challenges to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data integration or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Experience with C#, JSON, Python, and XML.
  • Experience with SQL Server databases, creating SQL queries, relational database performance tuning, testing and maintaining reporting processes.
  • Experience managing integration projects, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Ability to work effectively with dynamic development teams.
  • Deep understanding of data warehouse elements to support research, ad‑hoc queries and large projects.
