An established and forward‑looking building and construction business is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Coatbridge. Role Details
- Location: Coatbridge (office-based)
- Monday‑Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
- 37.5 hours per week
- Employment type: Full‑time, permanent
- Reporting to: Commercial Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Carrying out measurement and take‑offs
- Managing tendering and procurement processes
- Administering contracts and ensuring compliance
- Monitoring cost control and project financial performance
- Conducting risk assessments and value engineering
- Producing financial reports and project forecasts
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Supporting overall commercial strategy and project delivery
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Proven background in external wall insulation (EWI/NWI), rendering systems, cladding, or roofing
- Strong understanding of contractual and commercial processes
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and financial management skills
- Confident communicator with client‑facing experience
- Adaptable mindset with a willingness to drive change and improvement
