Area Sales Manager — Compressed Air Equipment North West UK• Field-based, regional travel •Competitive + bonus + car allowance
Our client — a leading manufacturer of compressed air equipment — is looking for a hardworking, hands-on Area Sales Manager to grow sales across the North West through their distributor network. A high-autonomy, field-based role with a clear remit: develop the existing distributor base, win new ones, and bring real product expertise directly to end users.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you’ll be driving sales of new products and aftermarket compressed air parts across the North West. You’ll own the patch, manage key distributor and OEM accounts, and act as the technical and commercial lead — from first contact right through to close.
Developing and executing the sales strategy for your area. Managing key and target distributor and OEM accounts. Visiting end-user customers with your distributors — running compressed air surveys, data logging existing systems, and recommending improvements. Preparing and presenting sales offers, data logging reports and out-briefing customers on findings. Hitting (and beating) your sales revenue and volume targets. Keeping CRM, forecasts and reports accurate and up to date
Comfortable with compressed air system data logging, surveys and the technical reporting that goes with them.~ Strong key account experience in industrial distribution.~ happy working autonomously and as part of a UK team across sales, operations and service.~ Based in the North West, with willingness to travel across the region. Full UK driving licence essential.
