Location: New York Street, Manchester / Hybrid working

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8:00am – 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch), plus one late shift per month

Salary: £34,000 per annum + up to £4,000 bonus

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced operational leader to join our Reed Screening team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of screening operations, ensuring service levels, quality standards, and compliance requirements are consistently met.

You will play a key role in driving team performance, developing leadership capability, and maintaining operational excellence within a fast-paced, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee screening operations, ensuring delivery against SLAs, quality benchmarks, and compliance standards
  • Manage resource planning, including capacity, forecasting, and headcount, to meet demand effectively
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Team Leaders, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture
  • Act as the escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk screening decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Ensure all screening activity aligns with regulatory, legal, and contractual requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies, driving continuous operational development
  • Monitor and analyse performance data to inform decisions and improve outcomes

About You

  • Experience within a screening, compliance, or highly regulated environment is preferred
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally with responsibility for managing Team Leaders or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of risk management, quality assurance, and regulatory frameworks
  • A confident decision-maker, able to balance operational demands with compliance considerations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for driving performance and improvement
