The opportunity

In our Senior Healthcare Management Consultant role, you’ll collaborate with NHS customers and healthcare organisations to design and deliver impactful change, and operational improvements aligned to the NHS 10-year plan and supporting customers to deliver programmes of work which address the challenges faced across healthcare. This role will have an initial focus on clinical reconfiguration and delivery of large scale, fast paced acute sector programmes as well as the opportunity to lead programmes across cost improvement, service transformation, digital and tech enabled change

You’ll apply your consultancy and leadership skills to deliver complex projects and programmes that achieve sustainable transformation and enhanced outcomes for patients, communities and teams. Including delivery of cost efficiencies, process and quality improvement.

We are looking for professionals who excel at working in complex systems, identifying challenges, developing meaningful solutions, and leading diverse teams through multifaceted projects and programmes.

Your ability to think strategically while executing operationally will be key to success along with the ability to work with executive clients, senior clinicians and front-line teams to design and deliver solutions.

Type of work:

As a Senior Healthcare Management Consultant at Attain you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects applying your consultancy experience, for example:

  • Clinical re-configuration
  • Cost improvement programmes
  • Service transformation and redesign
  • Digital and technology enabled change including process reviews
  • Consulting projects including strategy development
  • Working across regions, systems, places and at neighbourhood level

About you

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • significant experience delivering strategic and operational projects and programmes in healthcare
  • extensive consulting experience with a track record of successful delivery of client requirements
  • a track record of working with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and drive change
  • expertise in leading and managing complex programmes or projects, from inception to delivery
  • strong programme management skills, including familiarity with relevant tools and methodologies
  • ability to lead teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
  • operational or clinical experience, with exposure to provider environments
  • proficiency in data interpretation and analytics to inform decision-making
  • Microsoft Office expertise, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
