About the Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our small, dynamic team based in Frome, Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong technical or engineering background who is eager to develop a career in technical sales.

You will initially work closely with the Managing Director, supporting ongoing sales activities while learning our products, technology, and market in depth. Over time, you will transition into a leading role, taking ownership of sales and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

·      Support the Managing Director in all aspects of the sales process

·      Learn and develop a deep understanding of our technology, products, and applications

·      Assist with client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions

·      Travel regularly to meet customers, attend site visits, and represent the business

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

·      Contribute to proposals, quotations, and technical documentation

·      Gradually take the lead on sales opportunities and customer accounts

About You

·      Degree or background in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field

·      Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

·      Charismatic, energetic, and confident in engaging with clients

·      Ambitious and motivated to grow into a senior sales role

·      Willingness to travel extensively as part of the role

·      Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small team environment
