As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Account Executive to play a visible role within our ambitious and growing business.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional looking to further develop their career within a specialist real estate brokerage environment.

The successful candidate will manage and develop a portfolio of clients, build strong insurer and client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The role offers direct engagement with clients, insurers and senior leadership, making it well suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and contributing within a specialist brokerage environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients with a particular focus on property and real estate risks
  • Developing strong long-term relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters
  • Negotiating renewal terms and obtaining competitive market quotation
  • Attending client and insurer meetings
  • Identifying opportunities for portfolio growth and cross-selling
  • Supporting the generation of new business opportunities through referrals, recommendations and relationship development
  • Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and general client servicing
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
  • Working closely with senior management to support the continued growth of the business

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 year’s Commercial insurance broking experience, ideally with exposure to property or real estate risks
  • Experienced using Acturis
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive and client-focused approach
  • Confident dealing with clients, insurers and underwriters
  • Organised, professional and able to manage a varied workload
  • Ambitious and interested in developing within a growing specialist brokerage
