The Quality Manager role
This is a QMS-focused Quality Manager position where you will take ownership of the company’s quality systems, standards and continuous improvement activities.
You will play a key role in driving quality performance across the organisation, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements while supporting the company’s ambitious growth plans.
The role would suit a hands-on Quality Manager with strong experience in manufacturing or engineering environments who enjoys improving systems, developing processes and influencing operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintain and improve ISO standards and accreditations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities
- Manage internal and external audits
- Work closely with customers and suppliers on quality matters
- Monitor KPIs and quality performance metrics
- Support operational teams to improve quality standards and efficiencies
Requirements
To be successful in this Quality Manager job, you will ideally have:
- Experience as a Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer or Lead Quality Engineer within manufacturing or engineering
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience within ISO-accredited manufacturing environments
- Excellent problem-solving and continuous improvement experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- The ability to influence quality culture across the business
