Artificial Intelligence Consultant

Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on AI Consultant to join us here at Albany Beck to build our wealth management practice, supporting clients in identifying, designing, and delivering high-impact AI use cases across operational and client-facing functions.
The role will focus on accelerating adoption of tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude, embedding practical GenAI solutions into day-to-day workflows, and driving measurable productivity improvements within wealth management environments.
This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role suited to someone who can quickly understand existing processes, identify opportunities for automation and AI enablement, and implement tangible improvements with minimal supervision. The successful individual will act as both an AI practitioner and enablement specialist, bridging the gap between business operations and emerging AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
AI Use Case Identification & Delivery
- Analyse current operational processes across wealth management functions
- Identify and prioritise AI opportunities using tools such as Copilot and Claude
- Define use cases based on ROI, time savings, and operational impact
- Deliver quick-win automation and productivity improvements across teams
AI Enablement & Adoption
- Support teams in effectively using Copilot and Claude in daily workflows
- Design and deliver practical training and upskilling sessions
- Drive adoption across slower-moving teams through hands-on support
- Act as an internal AI champion, promoting best practice usage
Process Improvement & Automation
- Support automation of manual processes across middle office and operations
- Improve efficiency in client onboarding, KYC, reporting, and documentation workflows
- Identify opportunities for document summarisation, data extraction, and workflow optimisation
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with senior leadership and operational teams
- Translate business problems into AI-enabled solutions
- Provide clear updates on progress, impact, and delivery outcomes
- Help manage expectations in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment
Required Experience
Core Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in AI, data, transformation, or business analysis roles
- Proven experience within financial services (ideally wealth management, asset management, or banking)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude (or equivalent GenAI tools such as ChatGPT)
- Experience supporting AI adoption, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of GenAI use cases in business environments
- Exposure to process improvement, workflow automation, or operational transformation
- Ability to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Copilot, Claude, or similar AI platforms
