A client of ours, an entrepreneur with 2 successful tech companies that specialise in sports technology, is starting a new venture within the racing space
The company is building a next-generation motorsports analytics platform that combines a wide variety of telemetry and race data sources to help engineers and professional drivers improve their performance before, during, and after races.
This Software ingests race and car data, with an aim to enable greater visibility on key information to allow the racing team to make better data-driven decisions.
The Role
As a Python Engineer, you will help with the ongoing development of this platform, collaborating with 3 other Engineers and a Data Scientist. The software is currently in an early alpha stage, so there are plenty of opportunities to work on a range of high impact features.
There will be lots of opportunities to attend race days as part of this role, where you will see the practical impact of the software that you are developing and communicate with customers who are relying on the product to optimise their performance.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in Python programming, as well as strong experience working with APIs
- 1st class in Computer Science or STEM subject degree from a top university or a 2:1 from Oxbridge
- Experience in Networking and computer hardware is a nice to have
- An active interest in the motorsport industry
- Willingness to work on a product in the early stages of development
