We’re hiring a Head of Finance/Financial Controller — and this isn’t your typical finance role.
Our client is one of the UK’s most exciting media companies, scaling rapidly and expanding globally. They need someone who doesn’t just run the books — they need someone who builds the engine.

→ You’ll report directly to the CFO and sit at the heart of strategic decision-making
→ You’ll use AI tooling (Claude) and a modern ERP (Campfire) to automate the mundane and focus on what matters
→ You’ll build content ROI frameworks, support M&A activity, and lead the company’s US financial expansion
→ You’ll lead a lean, high-performing team and help grow it
This is a role for someone with extreme ownership — someone who treats the company’s capital like their own and holds a genuinely high bar for excellence.
✅ What they’re looking for:
• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Significant post-qualification experience in a fast-paced environment
• A tech-native mindset — you reach for AI before spreadsheets
• Experience designing data flows and financial architecture, not just reporting
• The confidence to challenge stakeholders and translate complexity into clarity
London (Kennington) · 5 days in-office · Reports to CFO
Media or creator economy experience is a bonus, as is US finance ops knowledge — but neither is essential if you’ve got the drive and the fundamentals.
