Mode Search are partnering with a globally recognised luxury fashion house in their search for a Store Operations Manager to join their Harrods concession.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across a high-profile luxury retail environment. Reporting directly to the Store Director, the successful candidate will oversee the smooth running of daily operations, ensuring best-in-class standards across stock management, systems, facilities, client experience, and internal processes.

The position manages an operations team of 15, including 5 direct reports, and requires a highly organised, solutions-driven leader with strong stakeholder management skills and experience gained within large-scale retail businesses.

The Role

  • Oversee all daily store operations to ensure operational efficiency and support commercial performance
  • Lead stock control, replenishment, and inventory accuracy across the concession
  • Ensure exceptional standards across facilities, maintenance, supplies, and operational readiness
  • Monitor till operations, cash handling procedures, and expense management to support profitability
  • Act as the key referent for operational processes, compliance, systems, and internal controls
  • Lead implementation and integration of new systems, tools, and operational projects
  • Support the client experience by ensuring smooth client flow and operational excellence on the shop floor
  • Partner closely with the Store Director and wider management team to drive operational improvements
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop operational team members
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong operations background gained within large-scale retail or luxury environments
  • Proven experience leading operational teams within fast-paced businesses
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across departments and leadership teams
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Driven to deliver excellence at all times with high attention to detail
  • Experience across stock operations, internal controls, systems, and retail processes preferred
