Leading travel/transportation client now requires a Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of improvement solutions for their onboard train Wi-Fi services.
This role will consist of overseeing the end-to-end delivery of onboard Wi-Fi solutions including manging technical teams, liaising with vendors, and ensuring the successful deployment of Wi-Fi solutions to enhance the overall customer experience.
Key requirements:
- Strong technical background in networking technologies and experience in deploying WiFi networks and infrastructure.
- Previous experience deploying WiFi (Onboard) solutions within the travel sector (e.g. Trains, Planes or Ferries).
- Excellent communication/stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage vendors and influence important decisions.
- Solid understanding of project management tools and processes, with prior experience planning projects, managing budgets and risk.
- Desirable: Knowledge of regulations and compliance surrounding the deployment of WiFi within a transportation environment.
This is an initial 6-month contract role which provides a daily rate of £550 (Outside IR35).
In terms of office location, this role is based out of Central London, with one day per week in office and the rest remote.
