A leading global energy trading business is looking to hire an Oil Products Operator to join its growing operations team in London.

Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day operational execution of physical oil trades
- Coordinating cargo movements, vessel nominations and scheduling activities
- Handling operational documentation including invoices, letters of credit and cargo documents
- Supporting freight, demurrage and operational cost processes
- Liaising with terminals, inspectors and external counterparties
- Monitoring storage and stock reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate trade and cargo data within internal systems
- Supporting compliance and sanctions-related processes
Requirements
- 1–4 years’ experience in commodity trading operations
- Physical oil/products market exposure preferred
- Understanding of cargo operations, shipping or scheduling activities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Experience within refined products, freight operations or biofuels would be advantageous.
