Job Description:

Pertemps professional Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Practice Improvement Manager on behalf of a North London Local Authority.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Quality Assurance and Practice Improvement, this pivotal leadership role will be responsible for driving, embedding, and overseeing the Quality Assurance Framework and associated improvement activity across Children’s Services.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, operational management, and professional oversight across a broad programme of audit, quality assurance, and practice improvement activity.

This includes leading and supervising officers undertaking service audits, thematic reviews, professional audits, and practice development work, alongside managing staff directly employed within the service and those seconded from partner teams.

Working at the heart of the directorate’s improvement agenda, the postholder will play a key role in ensuring that quality assurance activity translates into measurable improvements in frontline practice, service consistency, and outcomes for children and families.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly credible and improvement-focused leader with significant experience within Children’s Services, a strong understanding of safeguarding and practice standards, and a proven ability to embed learning and continuous improvement across complex organisations through a whole-system approach.

Paying £450 a day
