Title: Head of Tax & Treasury (Family Office)

Location: West London (hybrid)

Salary: £150,000 – £180,000 + bonus & benefits

Language Requirement: Fluent Hindi, Tamil or Telugu Speaker

We are working with a multinational investment group to appoint a Head of Tax & Treasury for its Family Office division, based in West London. The group has a diversified international portfolio spanning private equity, real estate, operating businesses, and strategic investments across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the group’s tax and treasury function across the Family Office and associated entities
  • Oversee international tax planning, compliance, and reporting across UK and overseas structures, working closely with external tax advisers and auditors
  • Manage corporate, partnership, and personal tax matters relating to investment vehicles, holding companies, trusts, and principals
  • Ensure efficient tax structuring of investments, acquisitions, disposals, and ongoing group operations
  • Monitor changes in UK and international tax legislation and assess the impact on the group’s structures and investments
  • Manage group cash flow, liquidity planning, treasury operations, and foreign exchange exposure across multiple jurisdictions
  • Maintain and develop banking relationships, financing arrangements, and treasury controls
  • Support investment analysis and strategic transactions from a tax and treasury perspective across mining, manufacturing, and real estate assets
  • Partner closely with the principals and senior leadership team on long-term wealth planning, capital allocation, and financial risk management
  • Oversee tax filings, regulatory compliance, and reporting obligations across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Develop and maintain robust internal controls, governance procedures, and treasury risk frameworks
  • Drive process improvements, systems development, and operational efficiencies across the finance function
  • Coordinate with legal advisers, auditors, financial institutions, and external stakeholders on all tax and treasury-related matters

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a senior tax and treasury leadership role within a family office, investment group, private equity environment, or diversified international business
  • Strong understanding of multinational investment structures, treasury management, and international tax planning
  • Experience managing complex cross-border tax structures and multi-jurisdictional compliance requirements
  • Strong knowledge of UK taxation, corporate governance, treasury operations, and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience managing banking relationships, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange exposure
  • Commercially minded with the ability to provide strategic financial insight to principals and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • Highly organised, discreet, and comfortable operating within a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
