Global Accounting Network is partnering with a fast-growing multi-site Events & Hospitality business to recruit an Interim Finance Assistant into their UK finance team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and creative environment supporting large-scale live events and festivals across the UK. The role offers broad exposure across operational finance, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, and stakeholder management within a highly collaborative team.
- 6-month interim contract
- Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the London office
- Full-time role
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier, operational and talent invoices
- Managing weekly payment runs
- Maintaining AP & AR ledgers
- Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving invoice queries
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end close
- Assisting with reporting into the group finance function
- Working closely with operational and non-finance stakeholders across the business
We are looking for:
✔ Previous experience maintaining an AP ledger
✔ Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
✔ Excellent communication skills
✔ AAT Level 4 qualified or qualified by experience
✔ Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
✔ Experience with Xero preferred but not essential
The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially minded, and excited by working within a fast-paced events environment.
