Global Health & Safety Manager

Location: London / International Travel Required (as-and-when necessary)
Irwin and Colton have partnered with an international organisation within the professional services space to identify a dedicated Global Health & Safety Manager to develop and oversee the Group’s health and safety strategy across all international offices, focusing on the UK portfolio to begin, and then looking at the global projects long-term. In this influential role, you will set and govern global H&S frameworks, ensuring standards are adhered to locally and compliance is maintained.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, HR, Facilities, and Legal teams, you will manage risks, investigate incidents, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, maintaining, and reviewing global health and safety policies and procedures
- Providing oversight for compliance and risk management across all regional offices
- Leading incident investigations, reporting, and ensuring regulatory submissions are accurate and timely
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to embed health & safety practices into business decisions
- Leading global H&S projects and responding to emerging risks such as public health incidents
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience operating internationally, European operations as a minimum, implementing health and safety strategy across an organisation; ideally within a high-end corporate/professional services environment
- Proven experience in health & safety leadership within a regulated environment, supporting multiple jurisdictions
- Strong knowledge of global health & safety legislation, standards, and risk management practices
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Relevant professional H&S qualifications such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
