Financial Services Business Risk Director
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and lead on allocated assignments in a way that exceeds client expectations while managing and developing staff.
- Drive business development initiatives.
- Manage a portfolio of existing client relationships, building and maintaining good working relationships with all clients and colleagues.
- Agree budgets for review with Partner and/or client.
- Monitor invoices raised and cash collected in a timely manner to ensure aged debtors don’t escape escalation.
- Lead client liaison meetings and attend audit committee meetings.
Minimum Criteria and Qualifications
- Professional qualification: CIPFA, CISA, CISM, CISP, or similar.
- Post‑qualification experience within the insurance or pensions market, confident managing a large portfolio of internal audit engagements.
- Proven track record of driving business development initiatives.
- Professional practice experience.
- Track record of leading client engagements and ensuring their effective completion/quality.
- Demonstrable experience of leading and supporting business development or winning new work.
- Oversight and personal development of team members and direct reports.
