Lead GP (or Salaried GP)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join a forward-thinking Practice in rural West Cumbria, in a Salaried or Lead GP capacity. The practice is ideally looking for a full-time / 9 session GP (4 days), though can be flexible on the days of work.

The practice

• Hub and spoke training practice, occasionally hosting trainees.
• Multidisciplinary team including ANP, paramedic and practice nurses.
• Reasonable workload of 15‑minute appointments, seeing 30 patients per day.
• Approved Tier 2 sponsor.

Role Overview

• Up to 9 sessions per week – flexible on days.
• Lead GP available with sessional rate over £13,000 per session (potentially over £117,000 for 4 days).
• Salary GP option: £10,400 – £13,100+ per session.
• Minimal admin support from efficient team.
• Work in a friendly supportive environment with a strong GP team.
• Below average home visits.

Qualifications
