Store Manager – Harlow, Manor Hatch

Location: Harlow, Manor Hatch

Salary: £33,280 – £35,360 per annum + great benefits

Contract: Permanent

We’re looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full‑time role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Empower your team to deliver great service, personally promoting the Co‑op difference to customers and members.
  • Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
  • Develop your team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
  • Ensure the store is safe, legal and operational.
  • Manage and optimise the store’s commercial performance, recruit new team members and manage HR processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience guiding and developing a team in a busy, service‑focused environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to coach, motivate and inspire.
  • Resilience and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team with store activities.
