The Opportunity
Flame Health Optometry are currently working on behalf of a long-established independent optical group with two practices in North Kent. Both sites have been serving their local communities for over 20 years and are now seeking a MECS-accredited Optometrist to join their friendly and professional team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected independent business that invests in both its people and its technology – including OCT equipment usually reserved for hospital settings – allowing you to deliver the very best in clinical care.
The Role
As an Optometrist within this practice group, you’ll enjoy:
- 20–25 minute testing times to ensure thorough, unrushed patient care
- Working with an established patient base in a supportive community practice
- Access to a varied caseload, including diabetic screening clinics and complex contact lens fittings
- Full support from experienced dispensing staff and on-site labs
Candidate Requirements
- GOC-registered Optometrist
- MECS accreditation essential
- Additional local accreditations in Glaucoma, Cataract, Paediatric or Macular Degeneration (desirable)
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- A clinically focused mindset with commercial awareness
