PMO Officer

Location: Ealing (Hybrid working, with some office attendance required)

Salary: £57,003-£68,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

Overview

We’re looking for a PMO Officer to join our Project Services team, supporting the successful delivery of complex, organisation‑wide transformation projects and programmes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring strong governance, effective reporting and coordination across multiple projects and workstreams, helping to drive successful delivery and strategic outcomes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of programme governance frameworks, standards and controls
  • Coordinate governance meetings and forums, including agenda management, reporting packs and minute‑taking
  • Track actions, decisions, risks and dependencies across projects and workstreams
  • Maintain integrated programme plans, milestones and delivery timelines
  • Support Project Managers and workstream leads to ensure project plans remain accurate and up to date
  • Produce regular programme reporting, dashboards and performance insights for senior stakeholders
  • Maintain RAID logs and support effective risk, issue and dependency management processes
  • Support budget tracking, resource planning and programme administration activities
  • Assist with stakeholder communications, presentations and programme updates
  • Act as a central coordination point across project teams and stakeholders
  • Support lessons learned activities and continuous improvement initiatives across the programme

More About You

  • Experience working in a PMO, project support or programme support role within large‑scale transformation or strategic programmes
  • Strong understanding of project, programme and portfolio management methodologies and controls
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in fast‑paced environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience supporting senior stakeholders
  • Experience using MS Project or similar planning tools
  • Educated to A‑Level standard (or equivalent qualification or experience)
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or relevant degree (desirable)
