About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Cost Management to join our team in a unique, high‑profile position supporting one of our largest global banking clients, based in the heart of the City of London.

This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated client account, providing critical cost insight and commercial support across a dynamic portfolio of projects. You’ll be working closely with project managers, leasing teams, and client stakeholders, playing a key role in shaping real estate decisions through data‑driven cost management.

As part of CBRE’s Building Consultancy team, you’ll contribute to delivering best‑in‑class solutions in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment where your work will have real visibility and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Produce high‑quality cost estimates to support feasibility studies and business cases, using a combination of internal benchmarking and market data
  • Partner with project managers and leasing teams to evaluate costs and optimise tenant improvement allowances and landlord contributions
  • Review and analyse bid responses, levelling data and presenting clear, concise insights to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Ensure all estimates, cost plans, and change orders are accurate and fully aligned with project requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate allowances, contingencies, and reserves, maintaining up‑to‑date cost plans
  • Support the financial close‑out process, including release of withholdings and verification of funding approvals
  • Capture and maintain project cost data to support benchmarking databases and continuous improvement
  • Translate complex cost information into clear insights for both internal teams and client stakeholders

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 2‑5 years relevant experience in cost management or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and cost data
  • Good understanding of costing principles, procedures, and industry standards
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
  • Detail‑oriented, inquisitive mindset with strong organisational skills
  • Confidence communicating and presenting information to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Strong numerical ability, including working with financial calculations and cost modelling

About You

You’re someone who enjoys working in a client‑facing environment, thrives on detail, and wants to be part of a high‑performing, high‑visibility account. You’re comfortable working with data but equally confident turning that data into clear, actionable insights.
